awesome place to go, i'll definitely visit again

Over the past couple of years I have travelled a lot and I have taken many pictures from all over the world. As I do not have time to write blogs I decided to post a selected range of pictures here. up-date will be done not regurarly but from time to time. Please note some pictures have not the best quality as older (1997 - 2000)ones are basically scanned negatives. Should I mixed up any place or so please let me know. Maldives has a diverse marine life, sharks are scary things for many people but in the Maldives they are very friendly, they swim with you and hang around with you. The trick is not to be scared just act normal they wont do anything. havea a look at some of the marine creatures you commonly find in the Maldives, but the Turtles look pathetic, look at the morrey eel also, isnt it wonderful. "Gamaru Giri" This is a name of an island in the Maldives. The island is a completely reclaimed island in a Faro. It is a very long love story where a rich man reclaimed an island in the middle of the ocean just to show his love for her. The isalnd contains a small palace, prive swiming pool and now a fish pprocessing plant, harbour and boat building faciilities.

Gan international airport is the second international aiport in the Maldives. So far only one international flight landed there in the opening day. Since than it has been again operating as a domestic airport. People of Addo has high hopes for the airport but somehow it has not been functioning well. With the tourism development in Addo it is expected to be fully operational soon. Gan Airport is a dissapoint for the people in Addu, hope things get well soon.
