Malabar

I was going to write a blog about my weekend birthday celebration and decided instead to tell you about Malabar - where we ended up after what must have been 36 hours of club hopping, house partying, non stop drinking and occasional showering action...

This is where we spent Saturday for a 12 hour SUB Underground Sound House Beats party (the cover charge used to raise money for Animals in Distress) - we started at 3pm and went all through the night. Once I hit the dance floor I was left there - TWICE - because I refused to go home...lol

Back to the review. MALABAR is a cocktail bar in the same centre as Billy the BUMS and right next door to the KEG, where I sneaked off to catch updates on the FA Cup match between Man U and Arsenal - that further induced the need to have a double shooters - thank goodness alcohol was on hand to ease the searing pain.

The couches and seats are outside on the covered patio so there's lots of air and there is an upstairs section, for more privacy. It's quite nice and got quite full later on. The beats rocked quite hard and my legs still hurt but it's massive fun. Plus it was for a good cause - I'll all for saving the world these days. This is how we do it in SA guys... NON STOP for three days so come prepared.

Thankfully, I can only put a few pictures up here because the quality of the pictures are directly proportionate to the length of the night....
