Each is fully furnished room has either a Queen sleeper which pulls out or a Queen Bed. Each room has free Long Distance to the Mainland. Free Cable, some rooms have three TV's, free Wireless internet. Each room has it's own brand new A/C unit, plus a top of the line Ceiling fan/light. All electric, Sewer, Garbage, Water is included. All Linen, Sheet are above 250 thread count, most are 400. The doors are French doors and the Walls separating the Rooms are 2x6 interior with sound proofing in between. It h...(see more)as a fully functional Kitchen, with Microwave, two Refrid's, three blenders, grills, four Toasters or Toaster Ovens, three sinks, three toilets and three showers, two hot and cold, one cold only. We are operating this as a Hostel, not Hotel, but only with private rooms, unless you are sharing with your companion. The only other charges are the Hawaii excise tax and transient tax which is less than 12%. No deposit or cleaning charges required. If you like that kind of place, the Honolulu is for you. If you like Privacy, clean water, stars at night, then Makaha is your place. The first Surfing contest was held at Makaha beach. We are walking Distance to 7-11, about a 1/2 mile. Or Makaha Mall which has a Fitness center, food stations, Tourist shopping stores and a local Thrift Store. Plus Laundry, but out Washer and Dryer are free for your use. The Rooms for let are in another section of our property, so you have basically your own unit, separate from our main living quarters. We don't care if you Smoke or Drink, we only ask that you don't Smoke in the Rooms, but outside for respect for others who will come after you. Food and Alcohol can be purchased fairly cheap at Tamura's Grocery, just 6 minutes from our property. The prices are in many cases cheaper than what we found in Washington State, our place or Origin before moving here 4+ years ago. Each room does have it's own Phone and free long distance to the Mainland and Canada, plus Free Wireless High Speed internet. $2000 for each set, so bring your own lock. Sometimes, individuals will have access to two Lockers for storing their valuables. Each private room has two locks, with an inside Dead bolt for Security. You will need to bring your own Beach Towels, Showering Towels and Beach chairs. Each room has it's own custom Locker. Out of state Id or Drivers license is required, which will be photo copied. A Key deposit of $50.00 for the steel door Dead Bolts, returned on your departure. If you wish to stay longer than the day, week or month, it does not matter to us, as long as you enjoy your stay and show Aloha. All the rooms are new, not 30-40 years old, this is a new Project, but not quite totally finished, yet you will find them clean, secure, sound proof and quite pleasant, a cut above the average Backerpackers Hostel found all over the World. ** Rates do not Include Tax**
