Major Magleashes - Salem - TravBuddy

Everytime we go to Salem, MA, USA, This is always the first place we eat. This is a bar but you can take the kids in for food. It is quite dark inside but once you sit down it just adds to the atmosphere, it is a typical locals bar, who are all really friendly. It has Keno (a type of lottery game) which is the only thing I have ever won at! Anyway the best food to have here is????? it is all so good but my favourite is the Chowder to start with and Steak Tips with half and half (half chips half onion rings) I have never tasted anything like the steak tips, they are melt in the mouth chunks of steak with the most amazing marinade. Ask any of the staff in majors there's no way they will give you the recipe!!! You must visit this great food place if you are ever in the area. Say hi to Bobby Waldo and Phil (owner) for me xxx
