Not Recommended!!!!!!!!! May 25, 2009
Not sure where to begin. It would be nice if I could think of something nice to say.
For the same money, you can do much better in the area. It is on the edge of the quarter in a dangerous section. The rooms were not clean when we arrived, and we only saw room service once, while we were napping. We asked her to come back and never saw her again. The courtyard was off limits two nights due to a wedding. The service is what really stands out at this hotel though. It appears to be staffed by inmates or those forced into service. Most appeared to detest their jobs and having to deal with the public. The only staff member that we encountered who actually appeared to enjoy his job was the head parking attendant who took a perverse joy in tormenting his victims. I witnessed it and thought that perhaps the guest deserved it, but when he turned his attack to my girlfriend I realized that he did not discriminate. He actually cussed her out. The manager did not seem to be very concerned with it when she reported it. Very strange way to earn tips if you ask me. I will never stay here again and I cannot stress enough that this is a place to be avoided at all costs. Try the Royal Sonesta, Maison St Charles or Place D'Armes. We have stayed in all of the above and can attest that they are in a different league. |

First, upon check-in we learned that the hotel pool/courtyard was going to...read entire review at TravelPost.com |

The worst service for the most money! Jan 24, 2008
The AC didn't work in the first tiny room and there was no place to use a laptop. They moved me to a bigger room, but again had to fix the A/C, fix the in-room safe, fix the bathroom lighting, neglected to fix the bedside light, no do-not-disturb...read entire review at TravelPost.com

Lovely boutique French Quarter hotel Jan 20, 2007
We thought this hotel was quite the find. We got what we considered to be a good rate, under $150 per night, and stayed for three nights in early Dec. 2006.
Our room was small, but lovely. The bathroom was even smaller, but we had a shared bal...read entire review at TravelPost.com |
