Maison D Hanoi Hanova Hotel
Maison D Hanoi Hanova Hotel Reviews
A Lovely New Gem Jul 15, 2009
Maison D'Hanoi was open sometime in December 2008. The boutique hotel is located at Hanoi’s Old Quarter and is walking distance to shops and Hoan Kiem Lake. The facade is of French Colonial and Asian Art deco, this is indeed a charming little hotel.
The staffs are friendly and the front desk personnel speak good English. My friend and I shared a room the first 2 nights and when she left, I requested to change room to a double bed instead of staying in the current room with twin beds as I will be staying on my own on the next 2 nights. The twin rooms is small but cozy and the room they changed me to was a fantastic corner room which is very spacious and there’s a lot of natural lighting through the windows. The rooms are elegantly furnished and come with LCD TV Screen, full fledge amenities, and complimentary broadband. Oh.. the bed…that’s heavenly.. so comfortable. I usually have a hard time sleeping in hotel rooms alone and will always leave a night light on, but with this hotel, I had the most beautiful sleep. There is a quaint restaurant located at the basement of the hotel and breakfast is served there, also set dinner. Good spread for breakfast, American, Continental and Vietnamese; Pho; and Omelette are cooked a la minute. The promotion the hotel had when I was there in May 2009, was USD 190 nett for 3D/2N inclusive of breakfast and one way transfer from the airport to hotel. I stayed for 4 nights so I asked for the return transfer, no hassle bargaining for the cab fare to the airport. |
