As we flew over the lower half of India, making our way up to Mumbai, it was amazing to see the different shapes and colours of the mountains, hills and valleys in India; something completely different to anything I had seen before in Australia. After a 4 hour flight from Bangkok we arrived at the Mumbai airport. This is theleast technologically advanced airport that we have been in yet butwas to be expected. It took us a while to figure out the taxi cabsitutation which is always pre-pay for the cab at the airport that waythere is no haggling over price once you reach your destination. Some people may prefer to take their time and go native but we approached it from the view point that we have 20 days lets see how much of India we can visit ,read on and I think you’ll be impressed with what can be done.

ok this is going to be a blog just about all the beers that i tasted on my travels. it will be a good way to document all the tastys in the world.just so you know beer is my drink of choice..... i try to only zasze a beer at the country in which it has been brewed bu sometimes i get a bit carried away, like after i have alreday had a few...also if one of my beers has the wrong information about it, could you please tell me, even if it is saying the wrong town or city that it was produced in

Sinhagad (meaning the "fort of the tiger") is one of the landmark forts near the city of pune, India. If you are in or around that area and fancy a medium climb (you can drive up there too), then sinhagad is the place to be. Its famous for its regional food thats served up there by people from the surrounding villages.

I spent my senior year of high school bunking everyday in Mumbai. It was the most amazing thing in my life and here are a couple photos that I stole from my friends.

oh yes.  Living the dream.  So we finsihed the tour in Goa - moving from the last hotel on the tour to a small beach resort of about 10 rooms which had opened that day.  We were the first customers - so we got the twin rooms for only 250 a room (3 pounds)  split between us!! nice. these were right on the beach and that was great - with the best continental style food we had eaten in India and the cheapest drinks at about 40pence.  But it started to rain - unfortunate...
