Affordable fancy meal Apr 26, 2009
Went to this restaurant in downtown Charleston on the recommendation of a local. It's a little expensive, but not terribly so. This place does traditional lowcountry fare with a modern twist. The special shrimp and sausage on grits was interesting. I HATE grits, but the very tasty meat made the grits edible. (This is a bigger compliment than it may sound) The flounder and shrimp on rice was wonderful. My friend's catfish was very fresh and tasty. A nice place to go on the last night of a trip.
