Nov 12, 2006This is the best fine dining experience in Kuching. In fact it is my favourite restaurant in the entire world - excellent food in great ambience. It is converted from an old Malay style house with oriental décor inside (eg. Chinese and nyonya antiques, Buddhas). The food is east-meets-west. The seafood bouillabaise is to die for … it comes in a bowl the size of a basin! All food come on huge white crockery ... it is hard to tell from the pictures. Their appetisers come and go … once they had beautiful Thai pomelo salad and Nyonya kueh pie-tee. Part of the 2006 Xiamen & Northern India travel blog |
