Madhya Pradesh, often known as the Heart of India, is a state located in the central of India. Its capital is Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh was originally the largest state in India until November 1, 2000 when the state of Chhattisgarh was carved out. It borders the states Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan.

We arrived in Agra about 7am, sooner than our tour guide had mentioned. He later told us about why he was hestitant to give estimates of how long it took, because sometimes 100 km can take MANY hours, you just never know what to expect! So it was better to set our expectations low.

Agra, The Taj Mahal, and my Bargaining technic.
We were all up extra early and had to be out on foot on the way to the Taj Mahal by 6am, and with no breakfast! The temperature was nice, cool and fresh, just right for a brisk mile walk. I wanted to see the Agra fort so a few of us made an effort to get up early this morning so we could squeeze it in before our journey to Bharatpur. We took Tuk Tuk's and were the first into the Fort.
