Shooting with the stars Jun 13, 2011
Well as first-timer in California, it is tantamount to visit Hollywood. My friend show me around the place, and as we move along, we came across Madamme Tussauds, a wax museum of famous celebrities.

Not bad! For a cheap price of USD25 (my friend was having an LA card, she got it 50%), we had a couple of hours of fun! We took pictures with our favorite celebrities. It is amazing how they made these figurines look like real ones (not 100% though, ofcourse, there are some with flaws too, but its fine). Props were made available also to make your photoshoots more fun and interactive.

The musuem opens daily at 10am to 8pm except for Saturday where it opens at 10am to 10pm.

Just make sure you bring with you a working camera. Know why??? Cuz as we are almost done checkin and taking photos, our camera crashed, memory card not working. Ouchhh!!! Good that we had an extra camera, though a very old one, still able to get some photos. Check them out! =)
Sorry ladies, he's mine now! =)

A LOT of Fun! Sep 14, 2011
Madame Tussaud's Hollywood location is just one of the several located around the world. The Hollywood museum is located near the Chinese Theatre. It is a wax museum with life-like figures of celebrities. And, as long as you don't touch the hair or face, you are encouraged to touch and pose with the characters.

Upon entering the wax museum, you take the elevator up to the third floor where you arrive into a party full of celebrities like Carrie Underwood, Lady Gaga, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (who are set opposite Jennifer Aniston, in a somewhat tacky way, in my opinion). This was a little mismatched celebrity party. At this point, I was a little disappointed for the wax museum. But, then on the second floor, the characters become more interactive and I really had a lot of fun. Characters like John Wayne, Jimmy Dean and Audrey Hepburn, plus modern-day Sue Sylvester from Glee and Jack Sparrow. We had a lot of fun posing and hamming it up.

There is a $25 admission fee, but in the end, it is well worth it. Plus, there are souvenir wax moldings that you can do of your hand.

Something fun to do! Oct 04, 2009
This was extremely fun to do. This was about $25 per person, but a tourist guide gave us a discount. The wax characters were really great and they actually looked like who they were supposed to be. It is a little expensive, but it is well worth it! You can spend as much time as you want to, so take your time and get your moneys worth!
