Let's see - this is a fairly clean hostel. Breakfast is included. Sheets and blankets are included. There are huge lockers in the room for each bed, so your things will be secure. Reception is open 24 hours a day. There is internet access also, but you will have to wait in line for that.

There is a bar downstairs in the common room, where you can consume what is sold there. There is a rooftop terrace, as well as a small gym room up top. There is a smoking section of the common room, which doesn't really keep smoke out of the rest of the common area, so if you're highly allergic, you might not want to hang out there.

There don't appear to be many group activities at the hostel, so if you already know what you want to do around Madrid, it works out.

One thing though - the locks on the room doors are a hassle! You have to learn how to open them in a special way, and basically, by the END of my stay, I had mastered the locks and would no longer need to use 'em...

I'd still recommend this hostel. Seems to attract a very cool crowd. And its location makes it very easy to see the sites.
