We found this Greek restaurant unexpectedly. It is nearby the supposedly “tallest thermometer" in the world.

Just from the outside look you can immediately tell it is a “Greeky” then you get inside and it is even more with all kinds of pictures of Cyclades islands.

The place is a fast food restaurant so we placed our orders at the counter. They don't serve the food but they will call you out at the counter when order is ready.

It was busy that afternoon so the waiting was quite long.

The restaurant has several dining areas including an outdoor one. The indoor front side area was jam packed; naturally the level of noise was not good. However, the inner back dining area was empty but closed. Maybe that area was reserved for a private function.

I would say their pricing is expensive. For a simple souvlaki wrap which comes with rice and some shreds of lettuce is $10.00 per order excluding drinks! The portions however are quite huge. We only ordered two sandwiches and a cup of soda. We took advantage of the free refill.

As far as the food, I was not satisfied, some flavor is missing but it is okay at least the meat is tender.

I also tried their baklava which cost a fortune for one tiny piece…

Bill: its just a structure made of steel and not a real thermometer -- but the story about it is also as interesting... Google it instead okay?! :))
