We arrieved in cusco and took our train to aguas calientes, the ride was long and uncomfortable. The ticket for myself, as a peruvian was $10 roundtrip, foreigner paid $57 for the backpacker, which is the cheapest.  We bouth those tickets from an agency, the commission was like $5, so it was worth it.
