    So we get up early and head away to the start of the trail. For those that don´t know the Inca trail consists of about 50km of walking starting off at 2380 metres above sea level and climbing up to 4200 metres above sea level back down to 3600m then up to 4000m before heading down to Macchupicchu, an old inca city.
