Maalaea Vacation Guide
Ma’alaea is located on the South Shore of Central Maui and midway between Lahiana and Kihei. Ma’alaea is mostly known for its harbor, the Ma’alaea Harbor. This harbor is where most of the Molokini, whale watching and fishing charters depart. The only other tourist attraction in Ma’alaea is the Maui Ocean Center. It’s the only aquarium on Maui and is “Hawaii’s Top Rated Family Attraction” as rated by the Zagat survey.
