Fabulous resturant in Johannesburg May 03, 2008
I was given a recommendation to go to Moyo Melrose Arch by Tarryn -SoloSister. We were a group of 20 looking for a fabulous dining experience and we found it! The menu is varied and extensive. We tried the more traditional South African dishes, and washed them down with a large selection of wines. This resturant has four levels to choose from. We went to the basement level.
The prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the dishes. They accepted reservations made from Canada too. The staff was very attentive and gave wonderful suggestions for dinner choices.
Before dinner, a bowl filled with fragrant water was brought to each guest to wash their hands. And after dinner, a beautiful girl came around to paint our faces. We did find the unisex bathroom a bit funny, but it was definitely the funkiest bathroom I'd ever been in.
When I come back to Johannesburg this will be my first stop!
