MIsaki-Sakinoya Miura Reviews
Traditional Japanese Sushi Mar 02, 2014
Located along the coast of Miura city, Travelers can reach this sushi restaurant via Keikyu bus and the Misakiguchi Station. Misaki-Sakinoya is the travelers go-to environment for guaranteed fresh and edible sushi. All seafood entrees are hand prepared and pridefully free of aquaculture (meaning straight from the ocean). Entrees are delicious with a touch of Wasabe and teriyaki sauces and coupled with Matcha green tea. My personal preference is the freshly cut big eye tuna on top of white rice.
The restaurant is a nice compact yet cozy area. Parking in this area can be an issue due to the capacity limitations of the building it resides in. This is not the most convenient establishment for westerners as the menus are in Japanese and a language barrier when it comes to ordering can provide a bit of a challenge.
Overall I recommend Misaki-Sakinoya because restaurants like these make me feel like I am in Japan, and the sushi parlor never strays away from tradition.
