Lyon Hotel Barcelona Reviews
This is NOT a hotel, AVOID... Oct 18, 2011
seriously this is NOT a hotel, I don't know who called this dump shit a hotel.
I could not stay even for 5 min. Had to check out and find another hotel.
when my taxi dropped me by its door I freaked out cause I could see the "H" but couldn't open the door. you have to ring the bell for someone to open the door for you. you'll enter a very freaky hallway and then have to take a scary lift up which belongs to many centries ago.
It looks like spooky horror movies and smells like a rubbish dump.
then you're there with a reciptionist who doesn't speak even a word of English.
the room is scary, dark and smelly with an exteremly small bathroom.
no internet and you have to walk to the hotel nearby for breakfast.

This is a simple but well-maintained property which offers excellent value for the money for those traveling on a budget. Breakfast is provided at an alternative hotel from the same chain called Santa Marta at the same street, number 14. 06/08 saThe rooms are very basic, as this is a one-star property, but they are clean and well kept. All rooms are equipped with bathroom, TV, telephone, air conditioning and central heating. The Lyon Hotel is located right across the train station “Barcelona Estacion de Francia”, not too far away from the Gothic Quarter, the Colon, the Picasso Museum, and the harbour. It is situated at the shopping heart from the city, right by the Zoo and Ciudadela Park. The hotel does not have a restaurant. For breakfast service, clients will need to go to Santa Marta Hotel, which is situated 50 metres away and belongs to the same hotel chain.
