Lynn Valley North Vancouver Reviews
Lynn Valley BC Jan 01, 2011
Lynn Valley is the hidden gem of hiking and tourist spot in North Van. If you want to visit the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, visit the Lynn Valley one. You are not missing much. Except Lynn Valley suspension bridge is FREE!
Hiking the Lynn Valley Loop is an exceptional way to sample the stunning forest scenery of the BC Coastal Mountains without spending any money or excessive time.
If you are at Lynn Valley in the summer time you can jump off cliffs and see how cold the Lynn creek water is. The cliff jumping spot is usually full of local kids/teenagers. There's a rock area where you can watch and sun tan as well.
Lynn Valley is open year round and it's really easy to get to from Vancouver.Follow Highway #1 to the Lynn Canyon Exit and take Lynn Valley Road north for three kilometres. Avoid the turnoff to Lynn Canyon Park and continue along Lynn Valley Road and enter Lynn Headwaters Regional Park. Pass the yellow gate and follow the narrow road for one kilometre to get to the parking area. The trailhead is a short walk down the paved road.
Pack some light snacks, water and charge the battery for your camera. You'll have a great hiking experience.
