Quaint, Friendly Guesthouse on the Beach Jun 12, 2008
Lydia's Guesthouse is a great place for the young traveler/backpacker. The rooms are very affordable and located on the beach, just a few minutes walk from the downtown shops and restaurants. Lydia owns and operates the hotel with her family. The rooms all have fans and several windows that let the ocean breeze in. Breakfast can be ordered and purchased from Lydia for USD 3.50 per person. Lydia and her son also operate Pelican Tours, a company that provides boating, snorkeling and fishing excursions to local attractions. These tours can be booked when you arrive at the hotel.
