Zambia -› Lusaka, Zambia -› …
Africa is paradise, and why not? It keeps me coming back year after year.  I return home every time and tell my friends and family about the incredible wildlife that roams freely. I tell them about the unspoiled beaches that rival any I have seen. I tell them about majestic mountains and about…

We vervolgen onze route. Lekker…

Righty-oh, this one will be a bit more rambling than usual.  Try to stick with it.  I thought I'd write a blog on Zambia as a country since we left it last night and are now in Malawi, and then hopefully add a second one detailing what we've been up to recently tomorrow sometime, before d…

Needless to say I slept most of the day on the truck. Our destination was Eureka campsite outside Lusaka, Zambia's capital, on Kafue Road. Set up tents when we got there then I was on cooking duty, which, luckily, was very easy tonight. After tea Mum had an appointment at CFB hospital/clinic as she…

A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both.

Hi all and welcome to our travel blog. I hope it was not too much of a pain to sign in! Rick and I are leaving for South Africa June 13 from Vancouver and we will be on a Safari for the following 2 months. But first we are headed to Regina. This website has really cool maps and we can upload pictures (if we can find a computer). Hope you all found this okay.
