Zambia -› Lusaka, Zambia -› …

I hope while I'm on this trip to have enough access to the Internet to keep this blog going so everyone can follow what I'm up to. (Time difference between UK and the countries I'm visiting in mainland Africa is only 2 hours)
I left home yesterday afternoon by train to Heathrow (via London) and go…

We vervolgen onze route. Lekker…

Righty-oh, this one will be a bit more rambling than usual. Try to stick with it. I thought I'd write a blog on Zambia as a country since we left it last night and are now in Malawi, and then hopefully add a second one detailing what we've been up to recently tomorrow sometime, before d…

Melbourne, Australia -› Hong Kong -› …
Needless to say I slept most of the day on the truck. Our destination was Eureka campsite outside Lusaka, Zambia's capital, on Kafue Road. Set up tents when we got there then I was on cooking duty, which, luckily, was very easy tonight. After tea Mum had an appointment at CFB hospital/clinic as she…

Hi all and welcome to our travel blog. I hope it was not too much of a pain to sign in! Rick and I are leaving for South Africa June 13 from Vancouver and we will be on a Safari for the following 2 months. But first we are headed to Regina. This website has really cool maps and we can upload pictures (if we can find a computer). Hope you all found this okay.
