Luray Vacation Guide

Luray is a quite town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountain's about an hour and a half drive outside of DC.
Although it still retains all the small town charms, Luray has recently experienced a renaissance of sorts. Casual espresso cafes, fine dining restaurants and fashionable antique stores now reside comfortably alongside home cooking style diners and weekend farmers markets.

The Valley itself offers plenty in the way of activities. Many visitors flock to the area during the fall for the change of season leaf display. The local caverns are open for tours all year round. The Shenandoah National Park is headquartered in Luray and the Shenandoah is a perfect river for lazy day canoeing and fishing.
