Best Cannollo of all Mar 15, 2015
The thing I most ate in sicily was Connolo, crunchy pastry with riccota inside. This delicious sweet had been driving me crazy since I first tryed it 2 years ago in a sicilian bar in Spain. I can say that while in Sicily almost everyday I had an average of 2 cannollo (the big ones). But as you try you kinda became an expert of wish are the best and where to get them, that happen with me and cannollo. I started knowing that the one with chocolates are not quite good, they are fake cannollo. I also learned that the one that are filled with riccota the moment you buy are the fresh and better. That happens to be in a few places and also in Luraleo were is made amazing cannollo. For the best of all.
Located just outside Porta Catania at the southern end of the main street, it is a lovely spot to pass the time of day with a beer (or coffee) people-watching, etc. Very friendly and attentive staff too!
