Fajardo is a popular city in Puerto Rico located in the east region of the island.
Fajardo is the center of the majority of recreational boating and snorkeling in Puerto Rico and a launching port to Culebra, Vieques, and the Virgin Islands. It also has the largest Marina in the Caribbean, called Puerto del Rey. The town contains various hotels- the El Conquistador Resort being one of its most famous hotels.
Off shore near Fajardo few small islands and many coral reefs can be found.
