Big rooms to lay your head low, with a healthy breakfast Jul 30, 2011
We stayed here as a last resort, after driving around to find a vacancy sign that wasn't taken down yet.
There is plenty of free parking outside this original croft house.
The owners Colin and and his wife Daniela and their two kids are very nice people. They speak German and Italian. Daniela is from Bella Italia.
We had the first room on the left when you walk in. It was HUGE. The bathroom was a little bit older but en-suite. The rooms were both clean.
Now the only bad thing was that the walls are very thin! We could hear our room neighbors talk well past midnight. Thank goodness for earplugs.
Breakfast was served, none-heart attack style, so no bacon and eggs. Freshly backed bread or croissants, with fresh fruit salad, a nice mix of grapes and berries. Salami, bologna and cheeses. I didn't even realized how much I had missed all of that. The coffee was OUTSTANDING!
