I wasn't expecting much from this hotel, and I guess it met my expectations, then. :-) I wanted a cheap place to crash in Milan for the first night of my Italy trip (I didn't want to pay the high prices of Milan hotels) and cheap was definitely what I got. But it was OK. My room smelled like smoke (something I definitely forgot to ask about when I was booking the room on Venere.com). It was your typical, uninspiring tiny European hotel room (tinier because I got a single room). It was close to a metro stop so it was easy to get into the city center.

The first night of my trip I stayed in the hilariously horrible Hotel Lugano - my room smelled like smoke and I wouldn't recommend it - but it was cheap and I wanted cheap in Milan. I bought a 24-hour metro pass and took the metro to the Duomo. I walk up the dark, dirty stairs of the metro… Ciao, Milan!
