Luckenbach Vacation Guide

Luckenbach is a true American Treasure. A short drive from Fredericksburg is Luckenbach, a place you really have to see to believe. It consists of about 3 buildings: The post office/general store, the dancehall, and there's also a house nearby.

Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings have a classic song about Luckenbach and the "basics of life" and Luckenbach lives up to this ideal. Everybody is somebody in Luckenbach.

Between Hank Williams pain songs, Newberry's train songs and blue eyes cryin' in the rain, out in Luckenbach Texas ain't nobody feelin' no pain

I had a conference in San Antonio, so I flew in a day early, so I'd have more time to explore. I thoroughly enjoyed my whole trip and especially liked Seminole Canyon, and Ciudad Acuna. Thanks to Scubagirl76 and Texas_cutie75 for being my tour guides in Del Rio and Mexico. Enjoy the pictures!
