Spur of the moment, I've gone solo again. This time, down south for the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban Quezon. I know that it is undoubtedly the most colorful festival in the Philippines, celebrated only on May 15, but I came there 3 days ahead. I basically wanted to avoid the crowded place and the traffic. Though there were still no decorated houses, I still felt the festivity in the air through the warmth and friendliness of the locals.

Kamay ni Hesus (Hands of Jesus) is a recently 'built' shrine/grotto in Lucban, Quezon. A couple hundreds of steps to get to the top, where a massive statue of Jesus Christ (with open arms). Such a good view from atop!

2nd time to pahiyas festival with co mountaineers. on our way we`re hoping it wont rain.when we reach lucban we had our lunch and waiting for the rain to stop.how can we go around and take pictures our cameras will get wet.but we dont want to waste our time going here if we dont roam around and take pictures...we almost chant rain rain go away come again after pahiyas hehehe
