This was my third hostel in Bangkok and It was by far the best. If Lub D was a movie I would give it 2 thumbs up. The shared bathrooms were very clean, the showers were always hot, and the beds in the dorms were fairly comfortable. The hostel has a very open common area in the lobby with a computer lab (free internet), they also have a really cool siting area in the entrance with sliding windows great for watching the rain, and catching a breeze while reading a good book. Another awsome feature is the Theater room it has a large flat screen tv and a nice surround sound system (football anyone?). Overall I would give this hostel a 4 star and I would recommend it to anyone interested in a Safe, Clean, Fun Hostel. Happy Travels

Porsche and his girlfriend, Tiw were even kind even to bring me to Lub D to check in for one night. If i had not made earlier reservations in Lub D, i would've stayed at HQ. I felt so at home there. At the lobby I met mark who has been staying at lub D the past… Got tired of getting wet - and the move to Lub D.

So I left my suitcase and some things there so I'd have the least amount of luggage possible. I got to the airport at maybe 10:00? 10:30 probably. So with plenty of time to check in and look around. I was one of the first ones to check in so I got a extra leg room seat..awesome. I like to go to the departure area right away… Flying to Bangkok

We wandered around there till around 3 when we caught a taxi back to Lub D. We got there at about 4 and had already packed up, we pretty much walked in, got our stuff and then took a taxi to the Southern bus station...the CORRECT one. We caught a cab and he said he knew where he was going… Grand Palace adventures
