Sognefjord retreat Jun 27, 2015
Lærdal Ferie- og Fritidspark is located beside the charming and relaxing Sognefjord.

Opening season for this camping site starts early January and continues till late September.

Although the entrance/exit is not gated, the camping ground is clearly marked with a small wooden fence around. The reception building encompasses additionally a small kiosk where one can purchase various equipment.

The grounds are vast and comfortably set out. All the camping and pitching spots are based in the centre of the complex with huts and apartment buildings circling around.

The buildings holding kitchen, shower and toilet facilities are located close by the reception.

There are multiple ample kitchen amenities with cookers, ovens, microwaves and sinks. Each kitchen area has enough counter space to allow relaxed preparation of a meal.

There is no dining area except for very few outdoor benches located within the grounds.

The camping runs its own café/restaurant which isn’t very big but looks cosy. Since we have never used this facility, we have no idea about the pries or the quality of food.

Shower costs 5 NOK for 4 minutes which is the cheapest we have come across so far.

The camping provides free Wi-Fi which worked only within the vicinity of the reception.

Daily rate for a tent and 2 people plus a car is 150 NOK with CCE card (Camping Card Europe).

This campsite deserves thumbs up for its location, price and the features.
