I joined a group of geologists to explore the vulcanos on Bali and Java. Between this serious work I enjoyed the beautiful country of Indonesia. First we had a group of 8 people, later on 3 girls joint us and we did the rest of the tour with 11 people. One of my last days on Java, I really felt the earth moving. It WAS a minor earthquake.

I went to Bali in 2005! We had a stopover in Kuala Lumpur and then we had our flight to Denpasar. To our 5-star hotel in Sanur named the Bali Hyatt. A very fantastic hotel! Sanur is not such a touristic town as Kuta! Next stop for us was Ubud, the most artistic place on Bali. Also very nice. Then we went to the vulcans on the middle of the island (Kintamani and Kedisan). Singaraja and Lovina to spot some dolphines, then back to Sanur for some days to relax on the beach!

After 6 months of travelling many things have happened. I saw whalesharks in Mozambique, heard lions roaring in Serengeti, smelled exotic spices in Zanzibar. Froze on the way to the summit of Kilimanjaro and sweated in the deserts of Oman. Met Xhosa people with painted faces in South Africa, sipped black tea with Pakistani workers in the Emirates and walked with Buddhist monks around stupas in Nepal...

1-month trip in Java and Bali

After almost 2 weeks in bali and now at the Lovina far in the north coast of Bali...i feel kinda miss Jakarta..pfhhh maybe I am missing my friends...or my own pillows :( yeah cannot wait to go back again to Jakarta...and seeing my families there...and go to malls again hahahaha...well i never fancy…

Well I am about to embark on a trip which is the first of its kind for me, I am taking time out from the UK to go and discover countries I have never visited before. I'l be starting in Oz, Perth-Sydney-Cairnes-Brisbain, the to NZ, Christchurch-Auckland, Fiji, Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia. To keep track of my travels keep logged on!

this trip really taught me that planning does errr lead to efficient use of time?haha...but other than that its just good times with family and friends :)
