Lousa Travel and Tourism Guide

The municipality of Lousã is situated about 28 Km's, from Coimbra (one of Portuguese main cities).
The place is best Known for the castle and natural surroundings, but also for it's mountain range, old small villages (some restored, some abandoned and other recently Inhabited by hippies), and also for the local gastronomy!
In this particular there are two special points of interests one near the castle - Restaurante "O Burgo" - and the other - Restaurante "Ti'Lena" - inside the small village of Talasnal, whitch is the main target of visitors and the best preserved/restored one (after all the village wasn't completely abandoned like others).
For the more adventurers there are some nice activities organized from local operators!
