New Orleans April 08: New Orleans Travel Photos
posted by:

It was my first time going to New Orleans. My sister and I went for Jazz Fest. The city is awesome. The people are nice and the city has a great vibe. I want to go back every year if I can. If you love music it is a must to go here. The food was very good. You have to try some crawdads. Also I recomend getting away from all the tourist areas and try some hole in the walk local spots. Some have the best food and you meet some very interesting people.

New Orleans - 1 to 2 weeks after Katrina: New Orleans Travel Photos
posted by:
Sep 11, 2005 - Sep 18, 2005
I know this is old travel news, but my memory kicked in as I was typing up my "most memorable" and i thought i would share a few Photos of my trip to help the great people of New Orleans. I was asked to go, to take photos for a website, but once there I could not just take photos, i had to put the camera down. You will see no photos of the residents here - They had been through enough, they did not need to be exploited.

If you have never visited New Orleans, you are missing a real treat. It is one of the most unique, fascinating, historical, and funky cities I've ever experienced. And Mardi Gras ... you've got to do it at least once in your life.

Because life is a trip, I'm chronicling the whole thing here. In a year where I've traveled to 18 great American cities, it's about time to show you where I've been! I just got a new camera, so from here on you'll be able to see where I went.

Day Eleven ~ Almost Home
posted by:
Sep 11, 2002 - Sep 22, 2002
Yellowstone National Park was our destination, but the "getting there" was the best part. Some days were hot and some days were wet and cold, but every day was wonderful. We rode our Honda Goldwings from the Mississippi River bottomland to the 10,947 foot summit atop the Beartooth Plateau in Montana. Come along with me, Jerry, Jan, and Randy as we cover 4,850 miles in twelve days. It was incredible.
