Seven days, many beignets later, I ended up with roughly 100 pictures of the Riverwalk, Lee Circle, Bayou Region, French Quarter, Jackson Square and Bourbon Street. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, my thoughts are with all of the wonderful people that "adopted," me and taught me about their historical and fascinating city.

Anne Rice fans would enjoy the Garden District, where she would get her inspiration and the setting of her books. Whether a fan or not, it is still worth visiting, and just looking around.
