Although many areas are still devastated from the Hurricane, I had a phenomenal trip through New Orleans, Biloxi, back over to Cajun Country (Lafayette and environs) in 2007. One should get a stamp in thier passport for this unique microculture. Great food Great people and Great scenery!

Our first snag. New Orleans has been closed due to a hurricane warning. It did happen in the end (that was 2005) but it did screw our plans.
