I know this is old travel news, but my memory kicked in as I was typing up my "most memorable" and i thought i would share a few Photos of my trip to help the great people of New Orleans. I was asked to go, to take photos for a website, but once there I could not just take photos, i had to put the camera down. You will see no photos of the residents here - They had been through enough, they did not need to be exploited.

Although many areas are still devastated from the Hurricane, I had a phenomenal trip through New Orleans, Biloxi, back over to Cajun Country (Lafayette and environs) in 2007. One should get a stamp in thier passport for this unique microculture. Great food Great people and Great scenery!

Travelling around the US right now. I have just stopped in New Orleans where I'll be working on a feature article on the Big Easy's three Rs: Reborn, Rebuild, Renovate.
Lots of organisations are still at work to mend the damages brought by hurrican Katrina in 2005.
