Lotusland Hostel

There is a fantasic common room, with a big TV, Wii, guitar hero, DVDs, PCs and a communal fridge etc.
The bathroom was a shared one, but it was spotlessly clean (cleaned hourly) and really modern looking. Hot, powerful showers combined with the modern decor felt more like a spa than a hostel.
Our private room was simple, but the bed was really comfortable, there was air conditioning and it was very clean.
The location is close to the centre and a short taxi drive from the train station.

Highly recommended.

Lotusland is about 4 months old (jan 9th 2009) so with that said you can guess that the place is amazing and comfortable!The Hostel itself sits right beside a beautiful park with a river that runs right behind it, the area is very well kept and Charlie the manager will be sure to take great care of you. Lotusland is also open 24hrs with a door bell if your just arrving early in the morning.

We didnt have a place to stay and found this Hostel on the net turns out when we arrived from Hong Kong by overnight train at 6am they still let us in. We got a dorm style room for 4 peolpe but ended up in a 6 bed dorm with just us for 2 days. I could write on and on about this place but if you ever stayed in any of the following hotels then you'll know what your in for. Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, 4 seasons, Sofital ok,ok so its not those big richy places but it ranks in the top 10 for hostels in this area.

Showers are one of the best futures of the place with water fall like setting on the shower head, showers are walk in style with massive body lenght mirror. Floors are tiled in marble off black with a touch of orange.
In the comomon area downstairs theres a 32' flat screen t.v with nintendo wii with rockband (so you think you can play says the manager Charlie!)
