Walk along the beach, or sample the tacky but very fun arcades on the pier, there is so much to do in this bustling city. Spot celebrities and shop til you drop in the lanes, there are lots of individual shops selling beautiful jewellery. You can stop for refreshment  in Shakeaway and see if you can finish a whole chocolate orange milkshake topped with Malteasers! Or if hot chocolate is more your thing try the end of the Lanes Cafe, if you go there enough the owner will give you a free one. If you can, go in August for the Gay Pride parade, I missed it, but its an amazing array of colour and costumes that lights up Brighton's streets.

In the afternoon laze on the beach, or take a trip to the country on the Devils Dyke bus ( No 77 I think!). Then have traditional fish and chips by the pier and prepare yourself for Brighton's Nightlife! From the clubs by the beach to the more traditional pubs further into the city there is something for everyone.

I had an amazing summer there, eventhough I was supposed to be working!
