Los Terrones Cordoba Reviews
Mountains that releasing your imagination Jun 29, 2011
Los Terrones (4600ft) is a protected natural area in the mountains of Córdoba that offers a unique place in the province and the country, with beautiful landscapes.
It is located 100km (62mi) north of the city of Cordoba at 91 km height in the national road 38. Then you have to do 4km (2,5mi) ground via Route 17 to the entrance and other 4km (2,5) to the base of the mountain (Is not recommended in vehicles after a heavy storm).
I recommend you go by car to the place, but it is also the possibility of going by bus, but you must walk around 8km (5mi) to the base and 8km (5mi) back to the road.
The company bus that that leads you is "Sarmiento" and is recommended to take the hours of 7:30 or 9:00 am. The ticket cost is approximately AR$40 per person, and time duration of the trip is 3 hours.
Once at place you have the option of two journeys: One short and undemanding (15 minutes) and another, which is what I recommend, is the long and is a little more demanding (2 hours 1,3mi).
The entrance to the park costs AR$24 and has bathrooms, restored bar, souvenir shop and you can hire guides for the tour. The guides do not have a fee, you pay them what you see fit.
Wear good shoes.
Bring a camera, extremely necessary.
Take care of the place and no left garbage.
Go by car, if you go by bus, take the first bus leaving at 7:30.
