Los Bagels is an excellent bagel shop in Eureka. It carries a huge variety of bagels and toppings. My personal favorite is the slug bagel which is a long bagel with sesame, onion, garlic, and spices on the top... ( you can buy the dry spices in a bottle... it's called slug slime... isn't that funny?) I like a slug toasted with cream cheese. David's favorite is whole wheat raisin with cream cheese.... They also carry Poppy, multigrain, rosemary parmesan, salt, whole wheat raisin, plain, sesame, onion, slugs and garlic ....

Los Bagels has bagels baked fresh every day.. They are closed on Tuesday. They also carry coffee named "heart of darkness" which is a very good brew. It would not be a good visit without a cup of their Mexican Chocolate, smooth & creamy made just right.... we have tried to duplicate it by buying the same brand and ingredients but it just isn't the same....

Our favorite cookie is Jodie's Corn Lime cookies. It is a huge cookie made with corn meal and glazed with sweet lime. They also carry oreo looking cookies that are great named double trouble. They have specialty bread and rolls available.

Because of the blend of cultures of the owners: Jewish and Mexican, they celebrate holidays for both. It is fun to get the "day of the dead rolls" and Jewish Holiday specialties: They carry bagels, pastries, organic coffee, breads, challah, corn rye sandwiches, salads and soups.

Los Bagels constantly has a display of art by diverse artists. We love seeing what is featured. This month is paintings of French cities and country side.... beautiful and dreamy looking. Sometimes they have children's art from Mexico. Sometimes it is photography.
