I got up early today to pack my bags and hope that I was not overweight. After loading my bags as well as the girls bags into the car we headed out to meet a friend for a goodbye breakfast. Afterwards I took one girl to the Greyhound bus station for her trip to Las Vegas and then it was on to Mrs Sees candies to load up!! I ended up buying so much candies it had to be shiped home via UPS. Then it was time to say goodbye to the other girl, I dropped her off at Universal...

Random pics of places in LA. A lot of nice places and things to do in this state. California is the place to be, wouldn't you agree?

There's only one advantage to being without a car in Los Angeles: when you do get access to a car, you really, truly appreciate it. I should re-phrase that: when you get access to a friend's car, and they just happen to be the one driving... then you appreciate it. I must admit that I'm terrified of the 405.
We were planning on going to the beach, but Paul suggested we go for a hike instead. We drove along the Pacific Coast Highway, searching for a road which would lead us through Topan...

My first 'big trip': 2 months through 10 states in the US of A.
It was a great adventure, largely because of the fact that we didn't know what we were doing. This was before I had discovered the functionality of a Lonely Planet guidebook, so our trip was mainly planned using fly/drive itineraries. We managed though, and saw a lot of great stuff.
For now it is just a map and a couple of recollections - I need to scan some photos

I went to germany for 2 weeks for the world cup last june. Visited regensburg, dortmund and frankfrut. Saw the germany vs poland game!(germany won!) & portugal vs iran game (portugal won because iran SUCKS!)
and also the mexico vs iran game.
It was fairly difficult getting around as i didnt speak one word of german and hardly anyone I ran into spoke english. However the cities were beautiful. I think 99% of the reason y it was so un4gettable was because of the worldcup.

This was my first trip to Hawaii and I had such a great time - the picture pretty much sums up how I ended every night: passed out. Fortunately I had friends that didn't write stupid sayings on my forehead! Really did a lot of the 'touristy' things this time around. Be sure to also check out my most recent trip in February 2006.

Los Angeles. LA! A city that never sleeps. A city everyone wants to visit ones in a lifetime. In 2 days it is impossible to see everything. But we have done everything to see as much as we can. We arrived in the in the afternoon. In downtown LA. First we went to the Mexican market. Nearby is the oldest church, it probably is build quickly after the foundation of the city in 1781. On the Mexican market we bought our refreshements and postcards. Up to Hollywood. First the Walk of Fame -> tha...
