Here a some photos of my trip to Australia. I met my Aussie Mates in Europe. One night in Florence, we were all out drinking and dancing. Rob surprised us all by taking the stage and asking Nicoles hand in marriage. The wedding was the main reason for the visit down under but I took a couple of extra weeks to see this beautiful country. I covered some ground seeing 4 states in 3 weeks. It was a trip loaded with good times and great memories.

Los Angeles – del 6 al 8 de juny Doncs desde Midpines vaig agafar un altre cop el bus cap a la Merced i des d'aqui havia d'agafar el bus cap a los angeles, el famos greyhound (que tela marinera). Doncs be, resulta que em vaig aixecar a les 5 del mati per no arribar de nit a los angeles, (no se, es allo que les ciutats grans quan no les coneixes jo m'hi estimo mes arribar de dia, sobretot perque les estacions de tren i busos acostumen a ser una mica aixi, i com que em moc en trans…

Mom was ill and I flew out for a couple of weeks.

Got the metro upto Hollywood again, walked along more of the Hollywood Walk of Fame and up a side street towards the Hollywood sign.  Found library so that I can send an email to Mum (free internet access if anyone is interested when you're on holiday !). Didn't manage to get to the beaches :(

After 5 months of being in Europe, I was able to return to my home, California for 3 great weeks. We stayed in So Cal for 12 days exploring Santa Barbara, San Diego, and LA. We then caught Southwest up to San Francisco where we spent the remainder of our trip visiting museums, mountain biking, going to the opera, taking in some football and baseball and eating the best food ever. I cried when I got on the plane to go back to Denmark. One day I'll return and when I do, I'm not going to leave.

ahhhh....

It's always good to be back in sunny California and all of the hustle and bustle.  The plan here is not to plan, but I do intend to take a day trip and shoot down to San Diego on Monday...Friends, conversation, a little food and drink: these are the things on my agenda...

i try to go on one good trip a year...so far, its been working quite nicely

2004 Cross-country roadtrip with my friend to Bloomington, Indiana. He was about to begin his graduate studies and needed someone to tag-a-long. So, we ended up devising a baseball 'n beer drive through the nation's heartland.

From Mexico city i caught an overnight bus to the town of Mazatlan!! This is quite a touristic town but had a beautiful beach with big waves!!! I was intending to only stay one night and got confused about ferry times and ended up staying for 2.... I got an overnight ferry over to La Paz on Baja California where i met a Mexican that claimed he worked for an anti-drug smuggling gang and offered me a lift to San Diego... nothing dodgy about that eh?? and also Jess a cool American.  The jo…

It was time for another travel to North America. Two weeks off from work, and as usual, I maximized this time out from my usual activities. From Los Angeles to San Jose to San Francisco and back to Orange County. And I have seen Mickey again... Cool.
