Loreta Hotel Prague
Loreta Hotel Prague Reviews
Loreta Hotel Jul 26, 2009
I stayed in the only single room at the Hotel Loreta in September 2007 and would recommend it to anyone. It is in a great location within a few minutes walk of the Castle and an easy stroll into the city centre - a tram ride back to the hotel is recommended though!
The room was more like a small suite with a hallway with wardrobe and a seat to sit on or to leave things. The bathroom opposite was always clean and very efficient. The bedroom was fine with a comfortable single bed and plenty of space for ones belongings. A comfy chair and a small tv were welcome additions. The only thing missing was the opportunity to be able to make a hot drink. Breakfast was served in a lovely building across the cobbled courtyard - or at a table outside if the weather allowed - and the choice was more than adequate to keep me going on a days sightseeing. The staff on reception were helpful and the chance to use the Internet to collect emails was a bonus. The gentleman on the desk also arranged a tour to Therezenstadt for me which was much appreciated. The position of the hotel next to the famous Loreta Church is excellent with nice veiws across the square to the Czernin Palace. And the fact that the nearest tram stop is just a couple of minutes away was very useful especially at night. I would recommend the hotel to anyone and was extremely disappointed when they could not accommodate me the next year and I had to stay elsewhere. |
