Most Memorable Travel Experience
• Watching the sunrise paint a dazzling display upon the north rim of the Grand Canyon
• The blanket of stars, from horizon-to-horizon, that covered me, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean
• The incredible array of beautiful fish that fought for my fish food while scuba diving in St Thomas, Virgin Islands, and the sun blinking green at sunset
• Exceeding 260 KPH in our beat-up Fiat, downhill, with the wind, on the German autobahn
• Enjoying a 12-course meal with the Mayor of Pattaya, Thailand
• Seeing the beauty of London, cruising “the Tube” and riding “The Eye”
• Canoeing the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior & freezing my Johnson off while swimming
• Visiting the Statue of Liberty when I was 5 years old, and knowing I would have the passion for travelling…which I have ever since!
• Prague…words cannot say enough. Go there!
• Rome…..one could spend several vacations here, and still not see it all!
• Stockholm….being on the steps of the royal dock, when Her Majesty the Royal Princess pulled up in her yacht, and I stood 10 feet away.
• Amsterdam….great food, great museums, great people!
• Anchorage…beauty that is indescribable!
• Singapore…to date, the cleanest, most beautiful country I have ever been to!
• Munich…Oktoberfest, biggest party I have ever been to, and Neuschwanstein Castle!!!
• Normandy….Omaha Beach and Utah Beach. These places have impacted me more than all others. I am so proud of all who gave up their lives, so that others would be free!
• Chicago…Dim Sum with TravBuddies, and taking pictures of Chicago from Ron’s rooftop…awesome!
• Minneapolis…The_Bill, Alyssa_Ob, Pinchora and I on our Mini-Meet Up excursions, and all of us planning THE Meet Up in Minneapolis in August 2008…and then meeting all the TBers that travelled to Minnesota!
• Getting surprised by my girlfriend who was in MY hotel room in Montana before I checked in…how did you accomplish that?
