Nice place with a good ambiance in the city centre Dec 30, 2010
Lord Byron is a nice small café situated in the centre of Brussels which also is open until 5 am in the morning. Many of the places close at 2 am so it is good to know a place like this. The place is quite small with a bar covering the back wall; the furniture is different kinds of heavy wooden chairs situated around small round tables.

Arriving from Denmark it was quite strange to enter a place where people are still allowed to smoke inside but this is a place like this. Most of the guests are in their 30s or younger and the place is also one of the few Flemish speaking cafés in the city centre. Their drinks card is quite large and they have a good selection of beers; both draft and bottle and I had the pleasure of tasting the blond Hapkin from the tap, which is great.
