Small, comfortable, very good service Mar 11, 2011
I found hotel Lord Byron on internet, it was at the first place of recommended hotels of Rome. Price seems to me expencive, but I was staying only one night in Rome, so I decided to stay there. It was not so classy as it looks on a pictures.

Anyway, I liked to seat at the balcony with cappuccino and croissant)) Breakfast was very good. Bathroom was a bit small, but all things in there was very good quality. I loved the quality of soap, shampoo and hair conditioner :)

Not far from historical centre. But not in the centre. Later on I realised that I could find better place for same price.

So, next time I will stay in different place.

Lord Byron Hotel Overview

Hotel Lord Byron, member of The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. as well as the American Express Platinum Program's Fine Hotels & Resorts, is undoubtedly one of the Eternal City's most prized boutique hotels, the Lord Byron offers Guests both the luxury of a five star hotel and charm of a private manor. It virtually borders the magnificent Villa Borghese Park, thereby granting discerned travellers a most serene ambience, atypical of the otherwise vivacious city. At one time, a Patrician villa, the property today is a newly renovated bliss. It presents 32 guestrooms and suites, equipped with all of the comforts of modern amenities, deluxe marble baths and in most instances, a balcony and/or terrace. Guests may enjoy the plush public areas which showcase the Italian knack for design and/or relax over a drink at the clubroom-like atmosphere created at the "Il Salotto" Lounge & Wine Bar. For those Guests wishing to sample the peninsula's beloved authentic flavours, we strongly recommend our highly acclaimed "SAPORI del Lord Byron" restaurant. The hotel staff is trained to anticipate every guest's whim. all combined, the hotel leaves little to be desired. Hotel Lord Byron virtually borders the expansive Villa Borghese Gardens in a highly exclusive residential, located in the northern part of the Eternal City. This privileged setting distinguishes the property from its fellow world-class destinations and is traditionally preferred by those travellers seeking quiet and sophistication. Both the Spanish Steps and Via Veneto areas may be reached with a taxi in under ten minutes, or alternatively, on foot by a leisurely stroll through the park.
