Lookier Gdansk Reviews
One of our fav cafe/rest in the old town, Gdansk Oct 02, 2017
Have been staying a month in the old town Gdansk, giving us the opportunity to explore and try different food everyday. We have been drawn to come back many times to Lookier, and another restaurant by the river next to the Crane (will review separately). Have tried several different dishes at Lookier, often for lunch. Nice presentation and the prices are reasonable. I tried fish of the day one time, it was trout and I didn't like it, I think it was from the packet. We tried the lunch special, a small bowl of pumpkin soup and pork chop (kind of schnitzel) with chips and salad (24PLN). We prefer to order the individual menu. Last night we both tried the smoked salmon pasta with different types of pasta, it was very nice.
The restaurant's decor inside is nice, but we like to sit outside, the street musician plays now and then by the Town Hall and certainly adds to the atmosphere. The waitresses are nice and friendly. They speak English and put a smile on their face. Lovely. ![]()
