We flew easyJet into London this morning. It was only a 45 minute flight but one of the roughest landings I've ever had.
We checked into the hostel for our last night and the went to check out the British Museum.
Tomorrow will be a full day of flying home.

It started as just a little thought that sounded like a good idea. "Take a trip to Europe by yourself" Then it became a reality, shown here is the reality!

London was so much more than i ever expected, and believe me, i had big expectations of it! It's a huge city and there's so much to see and do! The atmosphere is just great, there's always something happening! i couldn't imagine ever getting bored in that city!My family and i arrived in London a wednesday night. After getting into the city from the airport we caught the underground straight to Victoria station from Liverpool street and walked to our hotel on Belgrave road. We stayed at the ce...

2005 - 16.march, just after the first attack on London subway and buses... i've been in Paris at my friends place since one week now, looking at the scenes from the other side of La Manche. Terrible! Every one is talking about this. So am i. Then so many are saiyng - "now there will be coming nobody to London" - nobody? Interesting - people are afraid, they cancel their flights and trains so there are cheap tickets:D - and... who would attack the same place twice? - i thought so - but i was w...

Today we attempted the full day tour again. We got the last 2 seats on the bus. WOO HOO!! We made it! The day started out fine, but shortly it started to crumble.
We didn't stop at Buckingham Palace because on Saturdays they don't do the changing of the guards. That was replaced with the Horse Guard change. I have to say that was very boring, or as a man in my group said "This is about at much as peeling an onion or watching water evaporate!" That made Noell and I chuckle. ...

We conquered new heights yesterday! Early yesterday morning,
we embarked on a double-decker bus towards the British Airways London Eye. All
15 members of our group took a flight in our own private pod; three of us not
liking heights much. Proudly, the three of us made it through the 30 minute
trip without getting neither sick nor crying like a baby.
Afterwards, it was onto Platform 9 ¾ from the Harry Potter
Films. It was amazing to stand in Kings Cross and know the history o...

Christmas has always been a big event for my family. As a tradition, our clan would gather at our grandparents' house on Christmas eve. Our grandparents have 8 children with a minumum of 3 children each and most are married and have children by now so you do the math on how big this party is. :) My lolo would administer parlor games for the kids like spoon race and Trip to Jerusalem. There's also a program where kids can show off their talents or showcase what they've been studying...

We'd just been running in and out the last 7 days that we were so used to it. Never for a minute did we even think that our holiday would one day, end. For me, I wasn't feeling too bad. After all, Dubin and Ireland next. But for mum and dad, I'm sure they were going to miss both London and me.
The day started by grabbing a muffin and coffee, and heading back to Trafalgar Square. Why? Because we liked it so much the previous evening that we we decided we wanted to see what it looks like...

Tower Bridge is one of the most famous and iconic landmarks in London. It is also one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. I love this bridge, it offers an amazing panoramic view up the River Thames with other major landmarks dotted along the banks of the river. On the north side is the Tower of London, and on the south bank are the Headquarters of the London Mayor, next to the More London Development. The big ship in the middle of the river is the HMS Belfast, a floating muse...

Though one of the most expensive city to live in, London has a lot of things to offer. From rural to urban places, it is always a pleasure to enjoy the city itself. February was the time of the year that we visted the area, it was gloomy and cold but it was said to be the the best time of the year to visit (if its budget we are talking about). Hotel usually drop their price by almost half and winter clothes are mostly on sale. Harrod's has always been a pleasure to see, if...

As I was walking away from St. Paul's Cathedral I saw my reflection in a sidewalk store's window walking with all the Londoners. Today is my 13th day in Europe and it is still hard for me to believe I am here.I really didn't have any plabns for today except to sleep late for a change. That lasted until 9.45 haha. Back home I can never go to bed early and I never want to get up. That goes to show you how much I do each day I guess haha. When I finally decided to make a day out of today, I opene...
