So I HAD to be ready to leave my flat at 8:00am or I would lose £100 of my deposit. So 8am rolls around and I am ready to go. The inspector however doesn't show up untill 11:30am!!!!!!!! Gah I was so mad and it made me late getting to Ruby's which made us late for Canada day partying and drinking!! Once we got to Ruby's her mom fed me, her, and Hannah SO much food. It was awesome, I love being at Ruby's! Then we headed to the post office where we waited in queue for a good half hour. Finally...

Saturday 9th February
Day of the meet-up! Wooot! This was the second London meet-up, and my third meet-up in the space of two weeks! These meet-ups are taking over my life!!....hahha!
So we got up at like 9am, Lori left to go home and shower and get ready for Wagamamas at 1pm, but we were going to meet Elfie at Piccadilly Circus first. Met Elfie at half 11, and went to a pub, they wanted me to find a Whetherspoons but I didn’t know the area, so we just ended up going to th...

Today I took Jessica to Portobello Market and Covent Garden. Nothing I
hadn't seen already, but it was pretty exciting to realize that after
three months of living here, I'm pretty decent at getting around
without a map and knowing where cool things are. That made me really
happy. One thing we did do that was new to me, however, was go into the
Hummingbird Bakery on Portobello Street, which I see everytime I go
down there, but never go into. They have these delicious looking cakes
and ...

6pm Friday Night-Got home to my flat after work to meet Hannah so that she can drop off her bags at my house as she is staying the weekend and then we can get ready to go to Matt's leaving do at the River Bar near Tower Bridge. OMG it was so good to finally see Hannah again! I haven't seen here since the beginning of May when she left for her Contiki tour. We took a little bit longer than normal to get ready because we couldn't stop talking and we were eating crackers with hummous which is so...

How do i even start writing about this? I can't even remember half of the stuff that happened and am still trying to figure it all out from the pictures!
We'd been waiting for this night for quite a while, ever since Michelles b'day celebrations were over, and we needed another excuse to party!..woot! But knowing Shola, there was no way we could do a surprise 'do' for her as she would defo pester us to tel her. In the end we decided it was only wise to ask her what she wanted to do for her ...

Am leaving London tomorrow, a week early. Family emergency. I don't really want to go into the details since half the people who read this I don't even know. So family emergency will suffice.
I'm not sure how I feel about leaving. I thought I would be gung-ho... I've been ready to leave for a while. Get back to reasonable prices, good food, and people back home. But I guess I wasn't prepared to leave just yet.
I still have some things I wanted to do here which I haven't done (whi...

As much as I want to stay in London and see if I can survive (possibly not) I am still desperate to come home. The other night was really stressful, I kept waking up every 15 minutes checking up the internet to look up for flights and even jobs in London if I can''t manage to get home. I was very confused, but finally it was my mom's madness that made me decide (or forced me against my will) to find myself a flight that will get my ass home this very week. She was really mad, ...

The cold on the first day in London was disappear since I stepped here, Bangkok my home town, again. Not more than 5 minutes, I sweated! 14 hours different, also the temperature from 8c to 34c !
Don't know when I got a chance to wander around the world again. I've heard a lot of my friends spoke about London that it's nice. Was wondering why do some of my friends choose only London for their holiday each year? But after I've been there, even just a short trip but I ...

Roughly three hours after I intended to go up to London, I finally left the house. Dad was spending the day having needles stuck in him in the hospital, so I swallowed the guilt and went off to have fun for the day. The journey in (once I ascertained the low emission zone doesn't apply to Little Orange Cars) was uneventful, depriving me of the chance to share funny train excuse stories with you, and I made it to Barbican without so much as a scary looking creep on the tube to riff...

Oh my goodness. I'm so frazzled. I don't know how I've been packing for 3 days and there is still so much to pack! I'm pretty sure I'm going to be hit up for excess baggage fees. I'm certain I've accumulated alot of stuff since my 11 boxes of shipping was sent. My room was echoe-y when I sent the shipping and its not now. I need to curb my hoarding ways. The taxi is booked and paid for... £75! How can it be so expensive? Anyway it arrives in 4 hours t...

I had been looking forward to this night for ages. Not because Matt was leaving but because I'd get to go on the piss with a great bunch of people. I got to the River Bar on Tower Bridge Road at just after 7. There were already a few familiar faces there. Shortly after I got there we moved down to the cellar bar where there was a bit more for us all to mingle. It was a crazy night and so much happened I can't write about it all. We stayed in the River Bar until we got thrown out. I have no id...

Alright, the week is over time for the weekend...
Let's see what was going on
Itchyfeet - how appropriate as to the sad fact that 2 weeks ago I was the victim of wicked fleas attack (I think) thanks to my landlord dog. It's also the name of the outdoor shop I start working at this Monday in a very part time/occasionally way...It was good - the rest of the guys are all nice, same with the manger and I had a lot of free time to go around the shop and get to know it better. I also ha...
